For more than 40 years, the parts and logistics centres integrated into the company EFA Autoteilewelt GmbH have specialised in the supply of vehicle spare parts. Over 6000 customers trust their reliable service and high product quality. The enormous success of the company necessitated a new logistics centre at a site in Friedberg, Hessen in Germany.

A few months ago, a new logistics centre was opened there, facilitating an optimised order and goods flow as well as 100% access to all articles. All orders received before 15:30 hours are shipped the same day.

The contract for the supply of the logistics systems as well as all the office equipment for the administrative building was awarded to general contractor SSI Schaefer. In the three-storey racking equipment, approx. 30,000 parts items, consisting of micro parts and small parts, medium-sized and packaged, as well as large and bulky parts, are currently being stored. Racking at the relevant depths is installed on the ground and first floor to store large and bulky goods such as exhaust pipes, silencers, bodywork parts and windshields. The pallet warehouse is designed primarily for the storage of Euro pallets and mesh boxes, as well as special Ford containers and heavy parts.
